Ad maiorem Dei gloriam.

Anthony and Jane officially met at the Assumption Festival being held on the grounds of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy School in New Hamburg. But little did Anthony know that Jane had her eye on him from the moment she saw him kiss the feet of the statue of Our Lady in St. Peters Church on a Saturday morning in July. Through his devotion to Our Lady and strong love for the faith her attraction to him grew. They both had so much in common, from their creative abilities for design and photography, to their love of learning and reading, they were a match well made. "Everything was so easy with Anthony. I felt like I loved him and understood him so quickly. We got along so well, and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. It was the first time I truly felt understood by someone. " - Jane.  Anthony proposed to Jane on the Port Dover pier the day after Christmas, on a clear cool winter night.  She said "yes, of course", knowing that she wanted Anthony as the husband to lead her and the future father of her children. They became betrothed on Candlemas , the Feast of the Purification February 2nd, which was a beautiful ceremony where they "promise(d) to one day take (each other) as (their spouse) , according to the ordinances of God and holy Church. " and to "keep faith and loyalty" to each other amongst other things. Jane and Anthony grew in understanding of  each other as time went by and after much prayer and discernment decided upon July 26th of 2024 for their wedding date. The feast of St. Anne who they both have a strong devotion too. Anthony and Jane are looking forward to starting their life together as a married couple and will plant their roots in Southern Ontario.
